Getting there requires a bit of effort: the path down to the beach runs through grassy terrain and can be slippery, so proper footwear is essential. It's manageable if you come prepared, but not something to attempt in flip-flops. Worth knowing before you go: there are no facilities of any kind — no lifeguards, no amenities. You're on your own, in the best and most literal sense. Be mindful of the currents, which can be strong, and plan accordingly. But if you arrive ready for it, Arnela will reward you with a truly unforgettable experience. One of the most beautiful beaches ever seen."
