"Truly beautiful at high tide and splendid at low tide"
Jul 22, 2026"If you have dogs, it's best not to even go for a walk... we came here about eight years ago with our two dogs, and things have changed a lot. Our greyhound loved this place, and we wanted to come back and relive those happy times. We were walking along the port with our dog (obviously on a leash), and a woman started yelling at us that dogs weren't allowed. We just wanted to walk along the port; we weren't walking on sand. Another man on a bike with his son defended the woman and told us to leave, that laws exist for a reason, and that there can't be dogs because there are children in the area. Well, her son on a bike could hurt me more than my dog on a leash. It's a real shame that we have no empathy for animals... society is getting worse and worse."
